Safe Maternity Massage
~Maternity Massage You Can Enjoy with Peace of Mind~
Taking care of your body during pregnancy is extremely important.
To alleviate the physical changes and discomforts unique to pregnancy, our salon offers maternity massage.
This massage is specially designed to relieve the stress and pain specific to the pregnant body and help you relax.
~Reassuring Treatments by Specialized Staff~
At our salon, treatments are performed by certified maternity therapists who have completed specialized training.
This ensures that care is provided by staff with a deep understanding and specialized knowledge of the pregnant body, allowing you to receive treatment with complete peace of mind. From the early stages of
pregnancy through to the final month, we provide safe treatments tailored to each client’s stage of pregnancy.
~Treatments in Safe Positions for Both Mother and Baby~
During our maternity massages, we use special positions to ensure no strain is placed on the baby in the womb.
For example, for expectant mothers who find it difficult to lie on their stomachs, we use a side-lying position.
This allows even those in their final month of pregnancy to receive a massage safely and comfortably. We
also use support cushions and special mats to avoid pressure on the abdomen and lower back during the session, ensuring maximum relaxation.
~Addressing Common Pregnancy Discomforts~
During pregnancy, women are prone to various discomforts such as lower back pain, swollen legs, and stiff shoulders. To alleviate
these symptoms and provide some relief, our maternity massage aims to ease muscle tension and improve blood circulation.
After your session, you’ll feel refreshed both physically and mentally, allowing you to go about your daily life in comfort.
~A Time to Deepen the Bond Between Mother and Baby~
Maternity massage isn’t just about relieving physical discomfort—it’s also a special time to deepen the bond between mother and baby.
The relaxed state during the session is soothing for both mother and baby.
It is believed that relieving physical and mental stress and increasing feelings of well-being during pregnancy has a positive effect on the baby as well.

☆Pregnancy Tips☆
○ It’s said that women crave sour foods during early pregnancy. Is this true?
A: This is because morning sickness causes vomiting, which removes stomach acid from the body and makes it more alkaline. The body tries to restore its pH to a mildly alkaline state by consuming acidic foods.
○ Do the mother’s blood and the baby’s (fetus’s) blood mix?
A. No, they do not. The mother and the baby may have different blood types after birth.
Nutrients and oxygen (carbon dioxide) are transported through the placenta, which acts as a sort of “passing the ball” mechanism between the mother’s blood and the fetus’s blood.
○ I’m undergoing fertility treatment—is that okay?
A: One egg is ovulated from the right ovary once a month, and the next month, one is ovulated from the left ovary. One reason a healthy egg may not be fertilized by sperm is due to stress, illness, or blocked fallopian tubes.
Additionally, due to stress, the balance of female hormones—specifically estrogen (follicle-stimulating hormone, FSH, released from the anterior pituitary gland) and luteinizing hormone (LH), which stimulates the production of progesterone—can become unstable, leading to difficulties with ovulation,or even if fertilization occurs, the egg may not be able to continue developing.
We believe that what we can do is help relax the body, ensure smooth blood flow through the arteries to the brain, and promote relaxation to help restore hormonal balance.
